A collection of more than 50 images of pipe organs and the ceilings behind them has been launched by music and book publishers, Dr J. Butz of Bonn in Germany. The large-format book is the photographic work of Jenny Setchell, and many of the images are available for single sale here on Fine Art America. If you don't speak or read German, don't be alarmed! The book, launched under the German title of 'Dem Himmel nahe' comes as a tri-lingual version with English and French as the other languages.

Photographer Jenny Setchell specialises in photographing pipe organs, many of which will feature in a new book of her photos, to be published soon by Dr J. Butz, of Bonn, Germany. The book, titled in English "Looking Up at Pipe Organs and Ceilings", will be in both English and German, with brief details about the organs depicted but focusing mainly on the pictorial interest of the subjects. The locations come from around the world: Germany, England, France, New Zealand, Australia, China, Italy, Switzerland, Canada, and show the stunning variety of organ case design against the setting of the architectural styles of the buildings housing them.
A former journalist, Jenny is also the author of "Organ-isms: Anecdotes from the World of the King of Instruments", which has been translated into German and published by Dr J. Butz under the title "Die Königin und ihr Gefolge". Publication date will be announced soon and the book will be available worldwide.
